Palmetto Bug Stompers

New York debut

Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 6:00
Dance Lesson at 6:30, Live Music at 7:30

“There’s nothing like New Orleans,” the Palmetto Bug Stompers croon. Featuring Washboard Chaz (impresario of the cult favorite “ChazFest”) alongside some of New Orleans’s finest purveyors of traditional jazz, the Stompers got their start playing in the streets before moving indoors to Crescent City haunts along bustling Frenchmen Street. Get ready for some good old Big Easy fun as they bring their rough-hewn street-band style to the Big Apple for the very first time.
